Created by Ron Arad, Do-Lo-Rez is an unusual project that brings the virtual world closer to the real world. Its name comes from the expression “do low resolution”. The idea came to him after watching grainy image in low resolution, which then resulted in a three-dimensional surface.  The carpet is made with the technique handtufting, where each square has a ‘height different from the ones next, being composed in a very particular format in which the final pieces branch out as an element of a puzzle unfinished.  Fiber: 100% Wool (New Zealand)  Production: Manual  Technique: Hand tufted  Density: 46.500 knots/m2  Hair Height: 8 to 15 mm -30  Total height: 36 mm
