D.847.1 is a refined desk designed by Gio Ponti and produced by Molteni & C as part of the Heritage Collection re-edition project in collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archives. Entirely made of walnut wood with end caps of the legs in brass.Gio Ponti has always had a futurist vision of design, to the point that today all his projects are extremely current and contemporary, without having any need to be revised or redesigned. The Round D.847.1 desk is back in vogue after a careful study of images, photos, and period materials, which made it possible to faithfully reproduce the armchair in all its details. The famous Italian designer drew inspiration from the wing of an airplane, D.847.1 is characterized by the top with curved ends and by the small drawer with a rounded front.Structure in honey-stained ash, feet in satin brass
